My husband and I stayed in Casa de Sal for a week. It was exactly as described - with all facilities - the window looks out on the sea and you can feed shoals of fish and the gulls. Very clean and the family across the way are very helpful. Loads of local information and maps available.
Great for 2 3 adults would be tight. Combarro itself is very picturesque but does get a lot of visitors. There are loads of bars and restaurants - the bar second on the left after turning right on leaving the house was very pleasant. The monsastery in San Juan is very beautiful.
Pontevedra is the nearest city - 20 mins. away - very pretty. Beautiful beaches all over and we especially liked the ones on the southern side beyond Marin and the drive out to the end of the peninsula to Caba Udro has great walks. Stop in Bueu - huge fishing port.
The northern side is more developed but Cambados very pretty. Drive around Illa da Arousa - northern end another huge shipping port with great bars and tapas. Southern end, beyond the camp sites a great walk through pine forests with tiny and huge beaches with nobody on them.
